Day 15 - Perfect weather

Weather in Melbourne has been quite erratic for the past week - with temperatures barely reaching a maximum of 21 degrees everyday, it was difficult to remind ourselves that we were in the middle of summer. Having to rug up in a scarf and jacket in summer is just not right! So when I woke to a glorious sunny day of 24 degrees with endless clear blue skies, I couldn't help but smile.

On a beautiful day like this, we had to indulge in Australia's favourite pastime of eating and drinking, so we headed towards Yarra Valley and found ourselves at the Oakridge winery 40 minutes later.

We enjoyed magnificent views of the vineyards..


.. with delicious dishes for lunch and superb Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.


After lunch, we headed over to Giant Steps for more wine tasting. What a great way to spend Sunday afternoon!
