Today I spotted yet another face - that's 3 days in a row!!
With today being the first day of Chinese New Year, we spent the day eating, and eating, and eating...
... taking awkward family photos...
... and visiting and catching up with old friends.
My brother and I love laughing over that fact that Brother James Road and Brown Road are perpendicular to each other.
I found myself thinking I was very lucky to be able to celebrate the new year twice each year, first the new year of the Gregorian calendar, second the lunar calendar. It's been a few years since I've been back in Penang to celebrate Chinese New Year with my family, and being able to do so this year has been very special.
I hope the Year of the Dragon brings great things for everyone I love.
You're on a roll with the funny faces Sammie!
ReplyDeletelol what is with the pose you and your brother keep doing in some of the photos? :P
Sooooooooooo much food!
You mean the faces in places Jon! 4 days in a row now :O
DeleteHaha my brother started that pose.. I just follow :P
I'll need to go on a crash diet once I'm back in Melbourne, I'm going to explode from all the food here!
You call them faces in places, I call them funny faces :D.
ReplyDeleteThe one with you, your brother, and your mum is actually a really cool photo! Not awkward at all :).
