Brett is the master ninja of sneaky surprises. SO sneaky, that I always no clue what he has planned or what the heck is going on, even when I'm right in the middle of it. Like that last time when I found us standing at the airport with no idea what was happening, to us stumbling around The Rocks in Sydney and then suddenly arriving at Quay and him asking the host about our reservation, to getting into a taxi and finding ourselves at Marque with a bottle of Dom PĂ©rignon Vintage 2002 he had prepared earlier. I like to think I'm usually pretty cluey, but this sneaky master has me beat!
This time around, we were standing in the lobby of Park Hyatt after lunch. And Brett had a bag with him. "What are we doing here? What's going on? Are we attending something? Why are we here??" I asked, dumbfounded, to which Brett responded with some sort of weird smile.
After Brett was given a run down of all the offers included (and I stood by the side, retardedly still trying to piece two and two together), we were brought up to our room on the 17th floor, and it was finally revealed that Keng was given a voucher however was unable to use it before it expired, so he generously gave it to Brett/us! What a score!
So thank you Keng, for the strawberries with chocolate and the champagne...
And for the comfortable stay in the incredibly spacious room...
And for the twin sinks (my favourite feature) and spa...
...and the TV to watch while in the spa!
And for the fluffy white robes...
And for the lovely dinner and nightcap!
