I reached a milestone today - my 100th post! Which equates to 100 blog posts in 100 days, and recognising and documenting at least 100 things that have made me smile this year!
What better way to celebrate than jumping around some vineyards?!
Mr. Mason and I had dinner at Masons of Bendigo, where we enjoyed some great dishes such as:
Rockwood Cottage lamb cutlets, spiced lamb shoulders, sherry carrots and lamb jus gras. Grilled whole Port Phillip Bay calamari, local chorizo, sauce agrodolce, parsley salad and lemon. Warm salad of charred salmon and prawns, PepperGreen Farm beetroot, farro, pink grapefruit and herb mayo.
Having just opened 2 weeks ago, it was a busy night at Masons of Bendigo and it's clearly a welcome addition to Bendigo's food scene. Luckily, we discovered it was open on Easter Sunday!
Greetings from Bendigo! We're spending the Easter break roaming the streets and wineries here, and were treated to a spectacular (and loud) show of fireworks as part of the annual Bendigo Easter Festival.
