Day 127 - Stef and Melvin get married

Today, Stefanie and Melvin got married! I had the honour of being one of Stef's bridesmaids - my first time!

It was lots of fun!


The flowers were gorgeous, and Stef's bouquet was an arrangement of pastel blooms to match our dresses.


I love weddings! I love the joy and electricity in the air, the loving glances thrown back and forth between the bride and the groom, the frantic last minute preparations... and I especially love how the groom almost always chokes up with tears while reading out his vows. It's so raw and beautiful, I stand there teary eyed in awe.

And weddings are just such a joyous celebration - everyone's happy and smiley!

Day 126 - Lazy Saturday with Snowflake, fresh flowers, Captain America and har mee

Here are a few things that made me smile:

1. Spending a lazy, cold and wet Saturday morning with Snowflake in bed, where it's nice and warm!



2. Fresh flowers.



3. Hello Captain America! You are mighty fine!



4. Having (what I think is) the most authentic tasting Penang hokkien mee (aka har mee) you can find in Melbourne at Straits Cafe mmmmm.

Day 125 - Snowflake the lap clinger, all the llamas and high, smiley, cup noodle wearing cats

1. Michael: "The other day, I was sitting at my desk on my chair and all of a sudden Snowflake jumped onto me out of nowhere! It scared the crap out of me and she was sinking her claws into my legs and I screamed in shock and in pain hahaha.. I stood up to try and get her off me because it hurt but that only made her sink her claws even more to cling on! (hysterical laughter) I tried shaking her off but then realised it was a bad idea.. she's so fat and heavy, and she keeps wanting to cling on! She usually sits there and looks at you before she jumps, this time there was no warning at all."

Day 124 - Genki Sudo - World Order music videos, cute sleeping cats, pink earphones and funny Veet for Men Hair Removal Gel Creme reviews

1. I chuckled loudly to these incredible Genki Sudo music videos that Michael shared. They're tightly choreographed with Japanese precision, insanely creative and pretty damn awesome. So mesmerising! I love it when people are completely at ease with making a spectacle out of themselves in public.






2. Cute pictures of sleeping cats make me feel all warm, fuzzy and giggly!





3. Finally put my pretty pink earphones to use today. 



4. HILARIOUS Veet for Men Hair Removal Gel Creme reviews on Amazon had me in tears! Lots of reviews written by angry men who didn't read instructions and now have red angry bits LOL.


What's cut off from this screenshot are more wise words from Andrew the reviewer: "Heed my lesson. DO NOT PUT ON KNOB AND BOLLOCKS. (I am giving this product a 5 because despite the fact that I think my bollocks might fall off, they are now completely hairless.)"

Oh God. Too funny.

Day 123 - My niece's first smile for the day

Today, it was seeing the first smile appear on my niece's little face after she had been crying all morning from an extremely high fever.

It felt like sunshine after the rain.

Day 122 - Hairstyled alpacas

 Melinda provided today's big smile - Shear delight: Alpacas left with mullets after annual cut.





I can't decide if they're hilariously cute or cutely hilarious!
